Do I have to purchase mountaineering insurance?

Yes, please be sure to purchase insurance. The insurance that the guide has purchased only pays compensation for your damage caused by the guide’s negligence, and doesn’t cover damage by your negligence. If you do not have an insurance policy that covers you for mountain climbing/hiking accidents in Japan, please refer to the following URL.

Are there any age restrictions to participate?

There are no age restrictions as long as you all are in good health. We will walk at a comfortable pace according to your conditions. We welcome both small children and the elderly. Even if you don’t make it to the peak, we will do our best to make it a great experience for all of you.
Q3.
Can we join a tour with more than 5 people?

Yes, you can. But it is possible if renting a car or sub guide can be arranged. Please contact us for more information.
Q4.
Can I rent equipments?

Sorry, we don’t rent out large equipments such as hiking boots and backpacks, but we have spare gloves, hats, and another small items, so please do not hesitate to ask.
Q5.
If I join a tour alone, will I be with another group of people?

No, you won’t. If you participate alone, you will have a one-on-one tour with a guide.
Q6.
Is it OK for me to join an intermediate or advanced tour,
even though I don’t usually climb mountains?

Please feel free to join any tours. We will warm up thoroughly before starting the climb. However, if you want to have a successful on advanced tour, we suggest you do some daily exercise.

Is it possible to have a private room in the hut?

We will do our best to meet your request. However, most mountain huts in Japan have large rooms and we usually sleep together. Therefore, there may be cases where a private room cannot be reserved.

Do you provide guides to another mountains or areas
that are not on the tour plans?

Yes, we do. If you send us a request, we will immediately make a plan according to your desired itinerary and check the availability of mountain huts and other facilities.
Q9.
Can I hire a porter?

Yes, you can. We will arrange porters for you.
